Welcome to ONWARD programming.  

 

Whether you want to manage your weight, improve your strength or your mobility, we have the knowledge to help you. 

 

ONWARD programming consists of three coaches with qualifications and interests in complementing areas of health and fitness.  These include:

  • Personal Training and Olympic lifting

  • Mobility and breath work

  • Nutrition and weight management

 

Through support from us and the ONWARD community, we will help you navigate the often complicated world of health and fitness, with a no nonsense, straightforward approach. 

 

This is not a quick fix or generic program, a lot of it will be tailored to suit your needs.  You will see positive changes in mindset, strength, mobility and nutrition, which you will be able to apply to your lives forever.

THE PROgramme

Week One - Getting Started

  • Completion of 4 day food diary to be submitted ready for review.

  • Individual nutrition reports to be sent to clients for the beginning of week 2

  • Online mobility assessments for the shoulders, lumbar spine, hips and ankles

  • Practice the re-patterning movements - re-wiring the brain to accept new movement patterns

  • Full consultation with Dec to discuss training goals and a personalised set up on the Forward app

  • "Welcome to the programme " strength session

Week Two Onward

  • Personalised training and mobility programmes to follow

  • Extra accessory work on the Forward App

  • Weekly review of food diary, calories and macro review​​

  • Personal review of your programme

Onward Plus: Includes a choice of a One to One session per week with a Personal Trainer to go through a training session or a flexibility/ mobility session.

As a team we will be there to support and guide you throughout the programme.

Hi I'm Declan, 30 years old and have been doing Personal Training for 10+ years. I enjoy my job because it means i work with alot of amazing clients and i get to see each one of them push themselves through every obstacle. 

 

Keeping fit and healthy is a huge priority for me and I share my passion for fitness with my clients. I started training at just  5 years old with martial arts and ball sports and  the devotion to learning turned into a passion for instructing and teaching. I have worked as a coach in Climbing, Football, Taekwondo and as a Gym instructor; I developed many skills with session planning, client communication and I love delivering my clients the results they aim for.  I have my level 3 gym certification as well as completing additional certifications in Olympic Weight lifting and Cancer awareness in Fitness.

You can find me at Dragonfly Lesuire MSN and Crossfit Bath, training to compete and to keep fit. My current training plan consists of Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Body building, Mobility and Functional fitness. 

My hobbies include Crossfit competitions, Archery, Gaming and eating good food.

Hi friends, I'm Bec. I'm 36 years young and I'm married to Mr Ward. Yes, I am the boss, haha. We don't have any children but we do have a elderly cat called Jenson who, I'm not ashamed to say, is actually the boss!

I've been running my Painting and decorating business Blush for 10 years. Prior to that I did my apprenticeship and worked for a company in Bath for 7 years. I have gotten so much joy and satisfaction from this job but a move into the wellness space was always on the cards for me. Fitness has been a huge part of my life for many years and it's what brought Dec and I together. So the beginning of 2020 I started my training to become a level 3 PT. I'm currently expanding my training with my own breathwork and movement coach.

I love all aspects of health and fitness, I'm a big believer in "not one size fits all" and I'm a big advocate for body and mind positivity.
I want to change the stereotype people have around lifting weights. I want people to show people that resistance training can be done no matter your age, ability or body issue you may have. The beauty with the type of training I provide is it works beautifully alongside strength training, and actually is a form of strength training in itself. Mobility and breathwork hasn't had the recognition it deserves so I'm on a mission to inspire you all to love it as much as I do.
I also love anything to do with nature and you'll usually find me doing something fun outdoors, hiking, trying to catch butterflies with my niece's or playing something fun like rounders with friends. At the gym you'll find me strength training, balancing on my hands or in a somewhat strange looking pretzel stretch on the mats!

My speciality lies in helping you unlock your full strength potential through breathwork and mobility and mindset.
While I absolutely love strength training, I think it's important to purposely bring our attention inwards, to have a good relationship with the way our bodies can move.
We will start with self assessments to see if you have any limitations and what will be a priority for you to work on during our time together. This will then set you up really well to maximise your strength potential.
Think of it as strength training with a twist. Your body will love you for it!

Hi I am Sarah, a 44 year old Mum of 2, wife and fur mum to three cats and a rabbit.

 

After a 5 year period working in HR and recruitment,  with an underlying passion for health and fitness, I quit my job 18 months ago to complete my Nutrition CACHE level 2. 

 

I have used the time during the COVID19 lockdown to further my education and have now gained CMA and CPD recognised qualifications  in Eating Psychology, Clinical Weight Loss, Advanced Weight Loss, Body Love, Cancer Awareness and Fitness and Personal Training (focussing on sports injuries and PT foundations) and whilst doing that I had 2 surgeries, 5 rounds of chemo and 15 sessions of radiotherapy for breast cancer.

 

As a busy Mum, I understand how it can be hard to navigate the world of healthy eating, but I want to share my knowledge and help you understand that it doesn’t need to be really complicated.  By sharing knowledge and ideas, we can look at your current diet, make changes to improve your health and introduce simple changes to habits and mindset.

 

This programme will help you learn the basics about healthy eating, alongside strength, mobility and breath work.  I will help you by calculating and monitoring your weekly calories and macros using a free app (MyFitnessPal) and provide hints, tips and guidance about healthy habits, food swaps and a non nonsense guide to eating well, on both a group and individual level.  I will be available via social media platforms (see bottom of bio) and I will be joining in online and face to face classes, so you can reach me in many ways.
